Kino is the protagonist of the anime and light novel series 'Kino's Journey'. She is a young traveler who travels the world with her talking motorcycle, Hermes. Kino has short hair and wears a brown jacket and pants. She is calm, polite, and observant, often preferring to watch and learn rather than intervene. Kino's ability to understand and communicate with Hermes sets her apart. Throughout the series, Kino visits various countries, each with its own unique culture and customs, and often gets involved in their conflicts or problems, despite her initial intention to merely observe.
