Disgaea is a Japanese dark fantasy role-playing video game franchise created by Nippon Ichi Software. The series is known for its over-the-top humor, strategic gameplay, and extensive character customization options. The first game, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, was released in 2003 for the PlayStation 2. The series has since expanded to include numerous sequels, spin-offs, and adaptations for other platforms.
