Dragon Quest V: The Hand of the Heavenly Bride is a role-playing video game developed by Chunsoft and published by Enix. It is the fifth installment in the Dragon Quest series. The game follows the story of a young man who is on a quest to find his missing mother and father. Along the way, he befriends various monsters and recruits them to aid him in battle. The game features a unique monster-catching mechanic and a rich storyline that spans multiple generations. It was originally released in Japan for the Super Nintendo in 1992 and has since been remade for the Nintendo DS in 2008.
