Hope Estheim

Hope Estheim is a main character in Final Fantasy 13. He is the son of a prominent family in Cocoon, and his mother, Nora, is killed by a Sanctum fal'Cie. Hope seeks revenge against the fal'Cie for his mother's death. He joins the group of rebels to overthrow the Sanctum government. Hope is depicted as a young man with short, spiky hair, and he uses a boomerang-like weapon called a 'Boomerang Sword' in battle. He is initially portrayed as vengeful and bitter but later becomes more optimistic and supportive of his friends.
