About

Kung Lao is a character in the Mortal Kombat series. He is a Shaolin monk and a descendant of the Great Kung Lao. Kung Lao is known for his hat-like razor blade that he uses to slice his opponents. He first appeared in Mortal Kombat II as a playable character. He is often portrayed as a rival to Liu Kang, the main protagonist of the series. Kung Lao is also known for his teleportation ability and his 'Hat Trick' fatality, where he decapitates his opponents with his hat.
