Nemu Kurotsuchi is a fictional character in the Bleach series. She is the 3rd seat of the 12th Division of the Gotei 13, under Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi. Nemu is an artificial being, created by Mayuri from the remains of his deceased sister, Nao. She has short black hair and blue eyes. Nemu is polite and formal, often referring to others with honorifics. She is also very obedient to Mayuri. Nemu has the ability to absorb and neutralize poison, and can also regenerate her body from any injury. She plays a significant role in the Arrancar Arc, helping Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends infiltrate the Arrancar's base.
