Red Hood, also known as Jason Todd, is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe. He is the second character to assume the role of Robin, Batman's sidekick, and the second character to take on the persona of the Red Hood. He first appeared in Batman #357 (1983). Jason Todd was created by writer Gerry Conway and artist Gene Colan. He is known for his red hood and his violent methods, which often put him at odds with Batman. He has been a member of various teams, including the Teen Titans and the Outlaws.
