Mavis Dracula is the main character in the Hotel Transylvania series. She is the daughter of Count Dracula and Martha, and the mother of Dennis. Mavis is a vampire who is initially portrayed as a teenager in the first film, and later as an adult in the sequels. She is voiced by Selena Gomez. Mavis is depicted as a rebellious teenager who wants to explore the world outside the hotel. She is also shown to be very caring and protective of her family. Throughout the series, Mavis plays a key role in the storylines, often helping her father and other monsters overcome their fears and prejudices.
