Medusa is the main antagonist in the Kid Icarus series. She is a powerful sorceress with a snake-like appearance and the ability to turn people to stone with her gaze. She is known for her cunning and ambition, often plotting to overthrow the gods. In the first game, she is the final boss and is defeated by Pit, the protagonist. She has since appeared in various games in the series, maintaining her role as a villain.
