Tama is a supporting character in the Gintama series. She is a robotic dog with a humanoid face, created by the Shinsengumi to serve as a mascot. Despite her robotic nature, Tama has a very human-like personality, being cheerful, energetic, and friendly. She is also very intelligent and resourceful, often helping the main characters in their missions. Tama plays a significant role in the series, especially in the later arcs, where her abilities and loyalty are crucial to the plot.
