Fire Emblem
Fire Emblem is a tactical role-playing game franchise developed by Intelligent Systems and owned by Nintendo. The series is known for its turn-based strategy gameplay, permanent character death, and medieval fantasy setting. The first game, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, was released in 1990 for the Famicom in Japan. Since then, the series has grown to include numerous games, spin-offs, and adaptations, including the popular Fire Emblem: Awakening and Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The franchise also includes an anime series, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and various manga adaptations.
