Black Cat, also known as Felicia Hardy, is a Marvel Comics character. She first appeared in 'Amazing Spider-Man' Vol. 1 #194 in 1979. Created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist Keith Pollard, she is a cat burglar who becomes a sometimes-ally, sometimes-adversary to Spider-Man. Her appearance is characterized by her black cat suit and whip. She has a complex personality, often walking the line between heroism and villainy. Her abilities include enhanced agility, strength, and reflexes, as well as being an expert martial artist and acrobat. She has been involved in various storylines, including teaming up with Spider-Man and being part of the 'Thunderbolts' team.
