Felicia Hardy, also known as Black Cat, is a Marvel Comics character. She first appeared in 'Amazing Spider-Man' Vol. 1 #194 in 1979. Created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist Keith Pollard, she is a sometimes-ally, sometimes-adversary of Spider-Man. Felicia is a skilled cat burglar and martial artist with enhanced strength, agility, and reflexes due to a childhood accident involving a fire. She has a complicated relationship with Spider-Man, often walking the line between heroism and villainy. Her iconic black cat suit and whip are her trademarks.
