Edward Elric, also known as Ed, is the main protagonist of the Fullmetal Alchemist series. He is a young alchemist who lost his left leg and right arm in a failed attempt to bring his mother back to life through alchemy. He is known for his short stature, blonde hair, and his prosthetic limbs. Edward is hot-headed, stubborn, and often loses his temper, but he is also compassionate, empathetic, and deeply committed to his brother Alphonse. He is an accomplished alchemist and uses his skills to search for the Philosopher's Stone to restore their bodies.
