Ling Yao

Ling Yao, also known as Lin Yao, is a supporting character in the Fullmetal Alchemist series. He is the twelfth prince of the Eastern nation of Xing and is initially introduced as an antagonist. Ling is depicted as a cunning and manipulative individual who uses his charm and wit to achieve his goals. He is also shown to be quite selfish and power-hungry. Ling's primary goal is to become the Emperor of Xing, and he uses Alphonse Elric as a pawn in his plan to gain the Philosopher's Stone. Despite his initial intentions, Ling becomes an ally to the Elric brothers and plays a significant role in the series' plot.
